Purposed of the drill:
1. To verify the effectiveness Oil Spill Response Team and preparedness of personnel.
2. To assess the efficiency of Oil Spill equipment available on board.
3. To train and familiarize Oil Spill teams on the response required in the event of oil spill.
The scenario of drill:
Mechanic was found oil spill under Pipe Handling Equipment at line up station

Barge Engineer made announcement to instruct Oil Spill Response Team
to stand by the oil spill kit and proceed to scene

Cleaned and prevent the oil spill from separate to the sea and later disposed
the used absorbent into hazardous bags & container
HSSE Advisor arrived at the scene and immediately contact to Barge Spt & PHE HSSE Rep about this incident
monitoring repaired and replaced hydraulic hose after cleaning completed
The exercise completed and all team being debriefed with regards to Oil Spill Response & Procedure
MUSTER/ ABANDON DRILL ON MAS MULIA BARGE

OBJECTIVES OF THE DRILL:
A muster drill was carried out onboard, when the barge ontow from Johor Port to Marunda, Indonesia. The drill was the first emergency exercise conducted onboard with the purpose to train and familiarization all personnel onboard (POB) on the response required in the event of emergency. The followings below were the events recorded during the exercise.

OBJECTIVES OF THE EXERCISE:
- To assess the capability of the fire fighting teams in responding to a fire emergency situation.
- To assess the efficiency of fire fighting and rescue equipments available onboard PLB Mas Mulia.
- To train and familiarize the fire fighting teams on the response required in the event of fire emergency.
ATTENDED BRIEFING BY HSSE COORDINATOR (Mr. Ignatius Simon) & BARGE MASTER (Mr. Sulaiman) PRIOR TO PROCEED TO THE SCENE
FIRE TEAM MEMBERS PUTTING ON THEIR FIREMAN OUTFIT LOCATED AT MAIN DECK FIREMAN LOCKER.
FIRE TEAM PROCEEDED TO THE SCENE ( PORT BUNKERING STATION)
TEAM LEADER ASSISTED HOSEMAN TO PREPARE & CONNECT THE FIRE HOSE
FIRE FIGHTERS TAKE POSITION & STANDBY FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION FROM TEAM LEADER
HOSEMAN OPENED THE FIRE HYDRANT VALVE.
FIRE TEAM START FIGHTING THE FIRE AT BUNKERING STATION.
UPON COMPLETION OF EXERCISE, OBSERVER (HSSE COORDINATOR) DEBRIEFED THE FIRE TEAMS ON THE DRILL FINDINGS
OBSERVER (BARGE MASTER) DEBRIEFED THE FIRE TEAMS ON THE EMERGENCY & RESPONSE PROCEDURES.

Man Overboard & Fast Rescue Boat Team Exercise was carried out onboard PLB Mas Mulia, when the barge on position at Echo field, Indonesia. The drill purpose to assess the capability of the Emergency Response Team in responding to a Man Overboard Emergency situation and assess the efficiency of rescue equipments (Fast Rescue Boat). The followings below were the events recorded during the exercise.

DRILL MEDIC EVACUATION ON BARITO BASIN II PROJECT

There was an incident, a welder suddenly screamed and fell unconscious.
SHE personnel instruct co-workers to immediately shut off the electricity and
inform the incident to the Const, SPV and Medical SOS
Const, Supervisor Contac Medical SOS by Phone and all work activities and free up roads for easy access to the SOS medical team headed to the scene
SHE Personel call and slapped the victim to check whether who realized it or not, having known the victiom unconscious SHE Personel directly open the victim’s shirt to check heart rate and breathing the victim, lets to perform CPR manual
Medic SOS comes with a carrying medical equipment First Aid, turn the AED and attach electrodes PAD. (SHE personnel continued to perform CPR manual)
In the first shock, the victim is still not realized and Medic SOS instructed to continue CPR and energizing the electrical shock to the two. After the second energizing electrical shock, the victim woke up and vomited. Team immediately tilt the victim’s and clean up vomit.
The trained worker comes, transfered the victim to the Spinal Board and tied a rope.
The Victim trasvered to Brancar an pulled toward the Ambulance and go to Hospital

Supervisor on location contacted HSE officials, HSE officials contacted Medical Team to prepare evacuation
HSE officials ordered signal man to close the access road to give space for ambulance park o location.
Ambulance arrived to the location of accident after allowed by HSE officials, parked near the location and position ready to move forward.
Rescue Team leader gave instruction to Rescue Team to help victimsParamedic observed airways, breathing and circulation,head to toe inspection and awareness
Paramedic installed neck collar on the victim to immobilize victims neck’s Victim ready to put on long spine board (LSB)
Victims already put on long spine board (LSB), his head had been immobilized by collar neck and head immobilizer

Ambulance left the area to Banyu Urip Well Site to RSU. International Surabaya Doctor observed victims by secondary survey protocol and installed oxygen by canule
Recount workers at muster point HSE officials and Supervisor from Mobil Cepu SPG gave induction to the worker at muster point.
